Aylesbury Camera Club Website Analysis
After carrying out a Website Analysis for the Aylesbury Camera Club Website i found that the website is almost a deterrent rather than an advertisement for the organization. It manages to make its self seem like a dull and boring organization with the ordinary fonts, plain backgrounds, no artistic layout and lack of the organizations photography. The organization should be 'Shouting Out' all the great photography that has come from it. For example you could have a background of pieces of photography that have been taken by members. Also the fact that photography is an art means that the website layout should be very artistic and not ordinary. The current layout is a standard website layout with the title on the top, navigation bar down the side and information in the middle. The website should not be like this as it is not selling itself as a fun artistic activity. One other thing that i have noticed about the organization is the logo. The logo isn't very artistic and it doesn't really tell the viewer what the company is about. The logo should tell the viewer straight away what the company or organization does.

The Brief
The local council and regional development agency are collaborating on a scheme entitled Visual i's . The aim of the scheme is to inform members of the local community about the availability and opportunities made possible by local arts organisations. They aim to do this by the creative use of empty shop fronts and useable public spaces and wish to commission work from students who are following creative courses.
Social inclusion is very important to the arts organisations and they are clear that the successful commissions should address this issue. They wish to attract people to their organisations from sectors of the community who have not been regular users. The issue associated with inclusion are wide ranging and can be associated with age, impairment, language and cultural background.
Hours: 20 GLH (under supervised conditions)
Outcome: at least two disciplines (Media / Music / Art) can be a production or an artefact
